48RE TRANSFER CASE SUPPORT CORRECTION

With the constant twisting and flexing of the tail housing, it is not uncommon to see constant leaks from the tail housing where it meets the transfer case. This constant torsional flexing and fatigue will cause the repeated fluid leaks and damaged housings.

This fits like Dodge intended for this to be here. The factory skid plate actually has existing holes drilled already. This kit also includes a machined steel spacer/washer (fits below the skid plate) with a tapered groove to clear the OEM stamping.

If you have a cracked or damaged overdrive housing after replacing it, this is the solution to prevent this problem from bearing its ugly head in the future. . This is an ideal product for customers that make 450HP and higher or customers that tow/haul consistently.

This can be installed even if you do not have the factory skid plate buy using the following parts below available from Chrysler.

• - Crossmember 52022046AE
• - Bolts (8 required) 6507342AA
