The 10L1000 has many short comings that cause failures with engine tuning with common issues seen from the E clutch,torque converter and main drum just to name a few. They are a very problematic transmission. Unfortunately a fact of life of every 10 speed owner even in stock applications is the invadable main drum wear and eventual failures as a result of the wear. However with the right upgrades and build quality they can be made to be a much more reliable transmission. With our 10L1000's offer everything we feel necessary for a reliable rebuild. Availability: Our 10L1000 builds are for in-house drive-in customers or customers shipping in/bringing in a good rebuildable core only. Installation is $1200 with hot flush, fluid and fast learn. Pricing is based on the customer having a good rebuildable core. Call or text (714) 870-7300 to schedule. Turnaround time is generally two to 4 from the date of drop off.
