The Stage 1.5 is not a power handling step up. It is a durability step especially if have the opportunity to utilize aftermarket tuning

It does not hold more than a Stage 1. What it adds is our billet valve body in place of the stock body and modified separator plate and that changes two things that matter.

It takes tuning. Line pressure can be raised through tuning on a billet valve body. A stock valve body cannot be pushed the same way. If you intend to use tuning to get more out of the transmission, this is the build that allows it.

It is more reliable even if you never tune it. The stock valve body flexes. Billet does not. Valve body flex is a longevity problem, so the billet body lasts longer regardless of what you do with the truck.

So the Stage 1.5 is for two customers: the Stage 1 owner who plans to tune, and the Stage 1 owner who simply wants a stronger, more durable transmission and has the budget for it. Both are good reasons.

Fits 2007.5–2024 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500, 2WD and 4WD.

What this adds over a Stage 1: the billet valve body channel plate. That single part is the whole difference, and it is the reason to choose this build.

Torque converter — your choice, no extra charge

Goerend 19SS — stock stall, comes up fast and couples well. Stock and daily driving, or larger turbos needing higher RPM. Torque ratio 1.830 · K-factor 101.1

Goerend 15SS — approximately 300 RPM below stock. Tighter stall, maximizes low-RPM pulling power, keeps temperatures down. Towing and hard work, stock turbos and light tunes. Torque ratio 1.798 · K-factor 88.4

D&P Low stall- Great for stock to lightly modified daily drivers that tow and get used like a truck

Switchable ECM/TCM tuning $850 plus VIN license $125. For 2007.5–2021 trucks. The warranty excludes failures caused by improper aftermarket tuning.

3 years, unlimited miles. Service every 25,000 miles with proper fluid and OEM MOPAR filters, documented. Converter warranted by its manufacturer. Original purchaser, tied to VIN. Hot flush required with proof.

Drive in or ship a good rebuildable core. Hard parts beyond the build are quoted and approved before any work is done.
